SABER is one of the most influential and important writers in graffiti history… And one of his landmark achievements(and one of the most important/famous works of graffiti in history) is now gone… thanks to the dickheads with their heads stuffed far up their own asses who make decisions pertaining to things of this nature here in our city.
At a time when the state is in economic crisis mode… 100’s of teachers being laid off and the public education system as a whole could generally be summed up as tragedy… these guys decided it was important to spend “tax dollar$$$” to paint over a mural painted on the walls of the most polluted/neglected/inaccessible area of Los Angeles… did i mention its not really even visible from anywhere???
-GREAT JOB FELLAS!
IN ITS FORMER GLORY.
SUDDENLY THE “QUALITY OF LIFE” FEELS SO MUCH BETTER IN LA NOW! -THANKS FOR MAKING OUR CITY A MUCH “SAFER” PLACE TO LIVE!!!
And while we are on the topic of SABER…
SABER has a grrreat feature in this months issue of BLISSS.
My man MADSTEEZ shot some really good photos of SABER for the feature…
And speaking of MADSTEEZ, check out this awesome painting he just did of LA photographer/personality extraordinaire MARK THE COBRASNAKE HUNTER.
